ALL OKLAHOMA BRED DAY AT WILL ROGERS DOWNS
Will Rogers Downs at Claremore will be carding an entire day of races for Oklahoma Bred, both Thoroughbreds and Mixed Breeds on May 17th. In addition to the second jewel of the Triple Crown for thoroughbreds, the Preakness Stakes, will be simulcasted.
This day of racing will be highlighted the two live Cherokee Casino / Will Rogers Downs Classics and the OTA Classics overnight stakes. This will be the second running of these races, which have added Oklahoma Bred funds to purses and also funds for breeders awards. In addition there will be $5,000 of added Oklahoma Classics money for each race, for Classics nominated horses finishing first through third. Oklahoma Classic nominated horses will be preferred in these two races.
This all Oklahoma Bred day will be a highlight of the meet and present Oklahoma owners and breeders a special day of racing and money.
